The microblogging service Twitter has urged users to quickly change passwords for system access. The reason was an error that was discovered in the security system.
"When you set a password for your Twitter account, we use the technology. We recently discovered a bug where passwords were stored uncloaked in the internal magazine"- said representatives of the service.
They are added that the bug is fixed, and any serious effects have had, judging by the results of an internal investigation.
"There are no signs of intrusion or misuse"- quoted by RIA Novosti statement by Twitter.
Meanwhile, the company asked all users to change their passwords. It can affect 330 million people.
