MOSCOW, May 13 (Itar-Tass) – RIA Novosti. The orbit of the International Space Station was corrected before the manned spacecraft returned to Earth "Union MS-07", as well as for starting and docking with the ISS of the ship "Union of MS-09", told RIA Novosti in the Moscow-based Flight Control Center (MCC).

The return of the ISS 53/54 crew as part of the Russian Anton Shkaplerov, NASA astronaut Scott Tingle and Japanese Norishige Kanai on board a ship "Union MS-07" is scheduled for June 3. Start of the next ship "Union of MS-09" is scheduled for June 6.

"Correction of the orbit passed normally, the height of the station was increased by 600 meters, reached 404.7 kilometers", – said the representative of the MCC.

Correction was carried out with the aid of the propulsion system of a cargo ship "Progress of MS-08", docked to the station. Engines joined in 1.07 Moscow time on May 13 and worked 172 seconds.
