Samsung, which did not meet the expectations of those who so counted on the affordable price of the Galaxy A6, is preparing for release a truly budget smartphone with a frameless display, reports GizChina. The novelty will become the representative of the initial line of Galaxy J and debut in the very near future.
The soon appearance of the smartphone in retail is evidenced by the site of Samsung itself, which launched the official page of user support. Despite the fact that the vendor did not provide data about the hardware specifications of the device and its appearance, it is clearly not necessary to count on the breakthrough.
It is expected that the Galaxy J6 will receive the Exynos 7870 processor and only 2 GB of RAM, which is clearly small even for the device of the initial price segment. It would seem that it was necessary to equip the smartphone with a light version of Android Go, but the manufacturer decided otherwise and will install on it a full Android 8.0 Oreo.
The fact that the Galaxy J6 will be equipped with an elongated display in the style of more expensive models, indicate data from the official website of the Federal Communications Commission, which published screenshots of the interface of the future device. They clearly show that the aspect ratio of the screen of the novelty will be 18.5: 9.
