Red Hat has announced a software and hardware Storage One, unifying the servers, storage, technology, Ansible and open source. The system will facilitate the transition to software-defined storage.
Delivery and support of the Red Hat Storage complexes One will be provided by the partners, the first of which was the company Supermicro. Decisions will be optimized for the requirements of specific workloads.
In Red Hat saying Storage One offers companies a more easy plug-and-play approach to acquiring, deploying and configuring a software-defined storage. Solutions are presented in configurations ranging from 4 to 24 knots.
Hardware and software components Red Hat Storage One closely integrated with each other. Another advantage of the product is the easy-to-install tool for Red Hat based Ansible Automation and pre-configured configurations for use as storage media or a generic NAS storage.
