Lenovo is the first company to release a smartphone, whose entire front surface is occupied by a display. The Lenovo Z5 full-screen release was hinted by the vice president of Lenovo Group Chan Chen who posted a schematic sketch of the alleged device in the Chinese social network Weibo.
As shown in the sketch, the Lenovo Z5 has no front left "bangs", like the iPhone X and some Android-smartphones, nor any other elements. The screen, says Chen, will occupy 95% of the area of the front panel. The latest model "айфона", for comparison, the display-to-case ratio is 82.9%, in Mi Mix 2 – 91.3%.
According to the top manager of Lenovo, for the Z5 was patented 18 technologies that had never been used before. And judging by the teaser (above), published by Chen last week, the frame around "beastless" the device will be very thin.
Little is known about the apparatus. It is not clear, for example, where a self-camera and conversational speaker will fit. Perhaps Lenovo will hide "front" under the display, or make it so that it "jumped out" from the body, like the Vivo concept.
