EA confirmed that the new Battlefield still get a single campaign

During the next quarterly meeting with investors and shareholders, EA representatives confirmed that the new Battlefield will still receive a single campaign. This is reported by Hardcore Gamer.

Confirmation came after the appearance in the web of rumors that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 instead of a single story campaign will receive the “Royal Battle” mode.

Later similar rumors appeared about the new Battlefield. It was reported that developers from DICE allegedly are preparing a prototype of the Battle Royale mode, which can be postponed for the future or added to the game as a free add-on.

According to other rumors, the new Battlefield will return to the setting of the Second World War, will offer a cooperative mode with randomly generated missions and will be released in 2018. In addition, it was previously reported that the former EA Los Angeles allegedly working on Battlefield: Bad Compamy 3.

We will surely find out the exact information on E3 2018, which will be held in early June.
