Apple for the first time reveals the data on the requests of the authorities to remove apps from the App Store

Apple will begin to reveal information about the government requests to remove apps from the App Store. This is stated in the company’s report on gostaresh for the second half of 2017.

From Russia, for example, during the second half of the last year the company received eight requests for access to accounts on iCloud and iTunes, and granted one (13%). In the case of queries related to search for lost or stolen devices, Apple has satisfied 350 hoseproof of 405 (86%).
